The Walking Dead season 7, episode 14 "The Other Side"
Loved this episode. It set up some things going into the last two episodes for this season. Jesus basically coming out to Maggie. Maggie talking to Daryl and telling him Glenn's death was not his fault. Telling Daryl Glenn thought he was one of the good ones... just brought on the tears😢. Sasha and Rosita going off on their mission together to kill Negan. We learned a lot about their characters as they talked to each other. Sasha choosing to lock Rosita out when she went into the sanctuary. Selfish, crazy or touching...maybe all three. Eugene just being a coward... big surprise.... NOT!!
Who is the figure Rosita sees at the end.... Daryl?... Dwight?  Oh Boy!

Once upon a Time season 6,  episode 13 "Ill-Boding Patterns"
Solid episode. Great to see the Evil Queen come back at the end. Kind of endearing to see Gold doing something for Gideon to make sure Gideon doesn't do anything evil and can have a shot at being good and taking down the Black Fairy. Interesting way of doing it by Gold. Hook and Emma engaged....Yay!! but what will happen when Hook's secret is revealed.

Supergirl season2, episode 16, "Star-Crossed"
Nice episode. Winn is used by Lyra to steal a painting because she is trying to help her brother. In the end they save Lyra's brother and Winn forgives Lyra even though she lied to him. Winn feels that Lyra had no choice and it was nice that she would go to such lengths for someone she cares about. Kara finds out that Mon-El has been lying to her about his true identity..... Prince of  Daxim. Kara meets his parents. Kara and Mon-El break up because Kara can't get past the lying. At the end the Music Mixer? shows up and basically whammies Supergirl putting her into a coma while her mind is in a musical world of her own creation. Nice transition for the crossover Tuesday night on The Flash as the music mixer goes through a portal saying hes off to find the fastest man alive.

Scorpion season 3, episode 21, "Broken Wind"
Lots of bonding among characters this episode. happy and Paige have an argument but in the end become closer. Sly invites Cabe to one of his group's meetings even giving Cabe a cape to wear. At first Cabe wants nothing to do with it but then realizes that Sly is just trying to be friends with him while thanking him for his help during the campaign. Cabe shows up to the meeting. In a nice twist at the end, Toby chooses Paige to be his Best Ma'am for the wedding while happy chooses all three, Sly, Walter and Cabe as her Dudes of Honor. Pleasant ending with Walter and Paige sitting down to help each other with wedding preparations.

Humans season 2 episodes 7 & 8
Season Finale. a lot going on in these wonderful episodes. niska went back to help her family. Mia, Leo and Hester tried to rescue the conscience synths from the silo but failed. Hester is evil and went to kill Athena, ends up killing Pete. Hester then goes to the Hawkins house. She is planning on killing all of them. Using the same scrambling tech that Qualia used to stop the other synths then stop Hester because of the chip in her head but at the expense of Mia as well as Leo is stabbed. Mattie then sends the code to make the synths... All synths.... conscience which saves Mia but also wakes Hester, who fittingly is killed by Niska.  This also wakes Sam who is with Karen about to drive her into the water because she cant bear to be without Pete. Now Karen has a son.
After everything Athena decides to leave Qualia.  "V" leaves as well going who knows?? Will Leo survive?

That's it for my week in TV. I enjoy watching TV. I enjoy talking about it even more.

It was a fun TV viewing week. See you next week for my TV geek... week in review.

The Flash season 3, episode 17, "Duet"
I absolutely loved this episode. It was a great musical crossover episode with Supergirl. The opening scence is J'onn and Mon-El arriving with Supergirl in the coma and telling everyone about the Music mixer. Music Mixer appears and whammies Barry into the same musical worlsd as Kara. As Barry and Kara try to navigate their way through this musical they talk about their relationship issues. They also learn that they both love musicals. And that they have both been watching musicals a lot lately. In theend as cheesy as it sounds love was the answer. Mon-Eland Iris were able to save Barry and Kara because of the strength of their love. Turns out the Music mixer wasn't so bad he was just trying to fix two broken hearts... awww...  Very touching episode, lots of fun and humor and just entertaining. In the end Barry and Iris get engaged(for a better reason this time) and Mon-El and Kara get back together and are going to work through things. alls well that ends well...well we shall see.

Legends of Tomorrow season 2, episode 15 "Fellowship of the Spear"
Overall a good episode. can'tbelieve Mick did what he did in the end. Kind of feel bad for him because it only happened because he misses his friend so much and he feels kind of like an outcast even among this group of outcasts. Lots of Lord of the Rings reference. next weeks episode looks like it will be a lot of fun.

Designated Survivor season 1, episode 13 " Backfire"
Good episode, great show so far. I'm really enjoying the intrique and drama. Every episode brings upmore questions. sad watching The Presidents wife and children leave the White House to go to Camp David... what a sad scene him waving good bye to them.
Aaron told t take some time off. Why is Langdon making contact with aaron? What is Kimble's game? Where did this reporter come from? Wo were the Vice president and his wife taking orders from?

The 100 season 4, episode 7 " Gimme Shelter"
basically everyone doing what they have to do to survive and to feel something. bellamy is feeling alone and frustrated. Octavia trying her best to feel something again. Clark and Abby using a man to test a theory on... playing God.. Emori lying to makethem believe that man is bad when he is not just to protect herself.
How far would you go to survive and to feel something again?

The Expanse season 2, episode 9 "The Weeping Somnamblast"
Holden is still struggling with making tough decisions and the consequences of them.... whether they were good or bad.
Bobbie Draper going to Earth as a pawn in the Earth/Mars pece conference. She enjoys feeling the sun on her face and wants to see the ocean. She lies to the peace conference about events on Ganymeade as per her superiors and gets extremely agitated when her collegue is throw under the bus. Mars feels they found the perfect scapegoat. Chrisjen avasarala feels that is the case too and asks more questions of Boobie to try to get to the truth. I think it will be quite interesting going forward to see more interaction between Avasarala and Bobbie.

Colony season2, episode 11 "Lost Boy"
Great Episode. Nice set up for the next episodes. Really showed us what Bram is now capable of. He is definitely changed since the events of the Labor camp. Even manipulating his Aunt and lying to his parents came very easily to him. To say nothing of him being the killer of the Amassador without even hesitating. proxy Synder and Elena are trying to protect the Bloc by getting rid of Acala. How far will they all go? Can the radical agenda of the redhand resistance be stopped? How will everything come to a head?

Revealed that Zestorer is coming for the stick as well as Diana and Kelly. Wow!!! Finale looks loke it will be epic.

Riverdale

I am watching and really enjoying Riverdale on The CW. It is loosely based on The Archie comics using the characters as inspiration for an engaging story.

This first season has introduced all the main characters in some interesting ways. They are all recognizable as the characters from the comics with the same attributes, such as Jughead's hat and archie's red hair etc.
The main story line of the first season is the death of one Jason Blossom, captain of the football team.

Riverdale    season 1 Episode # 7 "In a Lonely Place"

Episode opens with Jughaed dreaming. In his dream they him and his friends all look like they do in the comics. He is staying at the school in a maintainence closet since the last place he was staying was shut down(the drive-in). Archie shows up and finds him and then Archie agrees to talk to his dad(Fred) about giving Jughead's dad (FP) another chance and hiring him back.
Fred agrees to give it a try. FP runs into Veronicas mom(Hermione) when he comes into work and asks her not to tell Fred about the Southside Serpents.
FP makes a big deal and a bit of a speech a couple of times about turning his life around and making a home again for his wife and two kids, Jughead and Jellybean. ........Seriously who named them...... Unfortunately you never really see him making more than siad speeches... his actions don't match his words... and we see throughout the episode that FP falls back into the alcoholism and is never truly there for Jughead. In fact Fred, Archie's dad is there for Jughead more in this episode.
Betty and Jughead get closer in this episode, a comforting hand on her shoulder, another kiss, walking her home, holding hands. they seem sweet together. Very cute.
It is overheard and texted to Cheryl(jason's twin sister) that Polly(betty's sister) has run away from the convent the same night that the car was found in flames. Cheryl goes and tells the sheriff and her mother and there is a hunt for Polly by both the Blossoms and the Coopers. There is even a confrontation between Betty's mom and Cheryl's mom. They hate each other. The feud between their families goes back a long time. The truth comes out that Polly is pregnant with Jason's baby. Her parents want her to give it up for adoption and Jason's parents who claim to want to help just want to take the baby because they believe that Polly would be an unfit mother.
Cheryl uncharacteristically wants to help Betty help Polly. Cheryl doesn't like what her parents are trying to do. Cheryl warns Polly to find some where safe to go. Veronica and her mom end up taking Polly in to live with them.

Jughead is arrested by the Sheriff. they found his prints on the car as well as Bettys but since Jughead has a history of arson and a bad history with the football team(he was Bullied). The Sheriff trys to make the case for revenge on the Captain of the football team. Fred, Archies dad, gives Jughead an alibi for the killing of Jason. Jughead is released and his father shows up drunk.... some help... Just like peviously when they went home and Jughead tried to talk to his dad and he passed out..... :-P

Also in this episode we see Veronica go clubbing with Josie, Kevin and Reggie. things are fun until her mom reports the credit card stolen. Veronica is doing this because she feels her mom took away the one thing that was hers... her name... when she forged her signature. They end up talking things out and for now seem to be on the same page.

Other things learned in this episode, the story of Fred and FP. We hear the story from both sides and with different details. It is hard not to sympathise with each side. But as Archie says when his dad told him I did all I could but I had to worry about my family I couldnt let us drown with FP.... Yeah but who was there to stop Jughead from drowning.

At the end of the episode we see Jason's jacket in Jughead's Dads closet...... WTH........

I enjoyed this episode a lot. It was nice to see Betty and Jughead be there for each other and have their friends be supportive of that budding relationship.

We get a glimpse into the reason that Fred and FP did the things that they did. It was nice to hear their story... we even got to hear both sides.  We feel geninue sympathy for FP and believe as he does that he wants to do better for his family and his son. We want him to succeed in that as much as he does. Unfortunately it is much harder than just saying you want to get clean. It was nice to find out that Jellybean is still alive and living with her mom and that they were doing well.

Cheryl isn't all bad. She has some feelings under that bitchy exterior. I loved how she was excited to hear that Polly was going to have Jason's baby.

It was nice to see more of Jughead's story. Sad that he's father is the way he is. Good that he has friends to support him.

Now the wait until March 30 for the next new episode.

Oh and so happy to hear about the renewal for a second season.
